Oh, no! I came down with Scarlet Fever several years ago and even my mild case was quite miserable. I can only imagine going through it as a family. So glad you're on the mend!
ReplyDeleteYour tomato plants look lovely - so much promise in them! I hope this week is restorative for all of you <3
you poor guys! bad bad having little ones sick. no good being sick yourself when you have little ones! argh. glad to hear that you're all on the mend and that hubs was able to be home couple of days. what an ordeal!
ReplyDeleteyay instagram. lol

I am so sorry the illness hit during a holiday, that is definitely no fun at all. I hope you can still get a family photo one day. I also hope everyone is feeling better. (I love instagram too)
ReplyDeleteDang! That sure is a yucky way to spend the week. :(
ReplyDeleteHope you're all feeling better to enjoy the weekend!
xoxo
Sending you much love and joy, Katie xxxx
ReplyDeleteMy three kids had strep and scarlet fever over the holiday weekend, I feel your pain. I am glad everyone is on the mend now!
ReplyDeleteI hope next week gets better!
Wow - I did not know Scarlet fever was even around anymore...so sorry to hear of your crappy week and hope everyone is back to their healthy selves soon! Blood tests - awwww, poor little guy - I can barely get through them without passing out!
ReplyDeleteNew tomato plants are wonderful!!!
poor baby! poor mama!
ReplyDeleteI also did not know scarlet fever existed anymore.

I just popped over to check in and can't believe I didn't see this post before!?!?! Oh my word! Scarlet Fever?? Momma, you deserve an award for the crummy week you had! Wow! Glad you all are on the mend. This is when blogland is hard, because in real life I would be offering to drop off meals or hold a sick child for you!
ReplyDeleteToo sweet, Ko! Thank you so much :)
Deletenothing is easy when a child is sick! so glad your family is on the mend. makes me wonder if scarlet fever is going around...was just mentioned by another mom or two on a forum i'm on...scary!
ReplyDeleteI know! I couldn't believe other people had it too around the same time. Apparently it is a form of the strep virus and if caught early is no biggie. But it was definitely scary and strange as I was not familiar at all with the sickness or it's symptoms.
